Distributive property because i feel that is what i have worked on most and been helped with most aswell
Matios, you are supposed to describe what unit you liked, not the things in the unit.
Make sure your post and responses are in complete sentences.
Okay. Now I see what you were talkin about when you said Mr.Ice,I didn't see that comment at first!
I liked unit 2. My favorite thing is proportions. It totally made sense to me. I think that proportions are very useful and are most def my favorite moment.
Hello Matios! I agree with you because in 4th grade we learned the properties somewhat and the distributive property was easiest to me.
Grapes! щ(ಠ益ಠщ) -Aleks K.
What was that drawing at the end of the text for? It doesn't really seem nessasary.
i cant read question 2
I cannot see it either.
Question #2 should be visible now. Please respond!
I would probably say Unit 3 because I feel like its the most fun unit we've done so far this year.
I agree, but I think Unit 1 was the easiest.
I did not like unit 1.
I do agree with you harrison, but just because unit one was the easiest does not mean that we benefited from it the most and that it was the funnest.
Harrison, what in unit 1 did you feel made the unit the easiest?
I agree with you Harrison, but I liked unit 2 the best.
My favorite time in class was w i was just like tapping ben and then ms. scott told me to say something to him and at the end i was just like SON to him.
I think so too! It is just an easy concept.
What was an easy concept?
Layla why was Unit 3 your favorite unit other than having fun with it. What concept in unit 3 did you like the most?
I thought there was going to be more questions?Guess not.
I completely agree with you. I also think it is the most fun to do.
The unit I am most comfortable with would be unit 1. I think it was the easiest for me because it was mostly a review of what I learned in 5th grade, so I already knew it. Also, could you say question 2? I can only see the 1st word of it.
~ Abby Challas
It's just the same with me.
However, I also liked the other units once I understood the concept.
I agree.Once you start to understand it,it becomes funner and easier.
I agree with you Abby. Unit 1 was just a review of stuff we learned in 5th grade so it made it easy to understand.
I think that I am the most comfortable with Unit 3. Even though I was having a little trouble at the beginning, I understood it the most in the end. I'm most comfortable with Unit 3 because I could get the information in my head faster and I felt great about taking the test! Ms. Scott, I can't see the second question...seems like its cut off. Can you help at all?
I feel that unit 1 was the easiest but I think that unit 3 was the most challenging and I enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment.
I agree with you, Olivia.
I think so too! Now I gotten to understand it better.
I totally agree with you Jordan, I was also a little confused at the beginning, but now, after the test, i feel very confident on all the concepts we have covered in unit 3! :)
It should be up now, I'm having a hard time with this internet to night sorry.
Its okay . Maybe you should leave it open like you did last time, and maybe I'll work next time.
i have to agree with u jordan
Yeah, I can't see the question either...
#1 The unit I feel most comfortable with out of the three that we have done was unit 1. The first reason I feel comfortable with it is because I learned it last year. Second, I did not have a lot on my mind at the beginning of the year,so i could really focus. Third and finally, fractions seem very logical to me. What I mean by this is you cannot really make fractions into a brainteaser.
#2 All I saw was "Descr".
I can't see it!!!! (fret, fret, fret)
Lauren please don't fret, question 2 should be up now so please answer it.
I completely agree
You are right! A big reason why I liked Unit 1 was because I could focus on doing my work. Also, I looked for ten minutes on the Internet, and I still couldn't find a worthwhile fraction brainteaser!
I also really liked Unit one, I think fractions are easy
Yeah they are. Didn't we learn this in 4or5 grade?
Hello People! I think either Unit 2 or 3 were my favorite, I did not like Unit 1, though. It just wasn't that great to me. But, out of all of them, I am most comfortable with Unit three. It is logical, yet easy, it's kinda hard to explain, number two is something about describing something. What does it say Ms. Scott?
why do u all put a color after ur name?
Because it is for the color math class we are in. I am in the red group.
I'm sorry Mr. Ice but you should include the class color you are in as your last name. However you are doing a great job at posting keep up the good work for a newbie:)
Hola Matios. It's Morgan. Why do you ask so many questions?
Because Mrs.Scott told us to! Duhhhh.........!!!!! ;)) Wink,Wink.HINT,HINT!!
I agree with you lauren even though I did pretty good on the unit two test it didn't make much sense to. Same thing with ubit 1. Yet unit 3 was just a tad bit confusing at the beging for me.Now it makes a lot more sense tough.
Um, yeah Ms. Scott, we can't see question #2.
yeah me neither but some people say the can see it.
I CAN SEE IT!
I think I am most comfortable with Unit 3, because I feel it's easy and we've gone over it the most. It is a very simple term.
What does #2 say?!
Yeah what does #2 say?????
I think that my favorite unit, the one that I am most comfortable with would have to be Unit 3. However, in the beginning, I was a little confused because sometimes i would get an answer that I believed was correct, but then finding out that the real answer was something completely different. But once I saw how someone worked it out, I understood. Now, at the end of Unit 3, I am very comfortable with all the concepts we have covered, and I felt confident when taking my test! (for most of it…)
I CAN'T SEE QUESTION #2!!!
Never mind, I can see it now…
I think that my best moments in math so far this year was once something clicked. Before any of the concepts "clicked" i couldn't really understand, but once they did, I was then very comfortable and confident.
I totally agree Ansley! I often did get completely incorrect answers, but now my consistency in accuracy has gone up majorly!
I agree with both of you,but I'm still shaky on a few things. (I think.....)
I think I have enjoyed Unit 3 the most because it was very straight forward and simple. I think we reviewed it the most. Also, on a completely different subject: What is problem #2 ?
I like untie 3 the best because I felt it was easy for me t learn.
My best moment in math was when we learned about evaluating expressions. I would always see it in a math book and not understand it, but now I do.
Yeah, I saw it in the test we took on the computer and I thought it looked like gibberish and now it makes sense!!
Yeah,I saw some of the questions on the C.A.T test and I was like,"WHAT?!"
u spelt unit wrong
Same here! I really liked Unit Three! I agree with you on that one; Ms. Scott makes learning easier and more fun!
MRS.SCOTT IS AWESOME !!!! !!!!!!!!
Yeah. The test today was so EASY! I BREEZED through it !
I think my best moment in math was when distributive property came into play again in Unit 3 because I understood why it was important.
speaking of the distributive property, My dad showed me the concept: 8(3 - 4) = 8 x 3 - 8 x 4
#2 My favorite time in math class was when we picked a card and we were split into centers. I like social things like that , because I like to interact with people and check my answers to see if they're right.
Yeah, I feel when we are in groups it's just more fun all together!
Yes, I think that really helped me verify that I was solving problems the right way.
I liked that to.
#2 The best moment I have had in math class this year was incredibly funny. It was just a couple weeks ago when Joseph had been going on one of his Question asking rants. Then, completely out of the blue, Lauren had, in shorter words, told him to shut up. The whole class started laughing, and Joseph had had a clear look of embarrassment on his face. Ahhh, the good old days:].
Thanks for telling everyone about that, "buddy." :D
That was hilarious!
Yes the good old days where the common phrase was "get yourself together"
unit 3 was my favorite because of the diffrent propeties and my favorite moment in math so far i really since i havent been there long would be meating ms.scott and learning at a faster pace.
I agree with you Mr. Ice (Matios). My faveriite moment in math was moving to accelerated math!!!!!!!!!
Hello people! The unit which I thought was the easiest was unit 3. I struggled a little at first but soon got the hang of the concept.
Apples! щ(ಠ益ಠщ) -Aleks K.
The best moment in math is very unrelated to math and it is probably when there was a water-bug/cockroach in the classroom near Doung's area and lots of people tried to kill it. James ended up killing it with a light blue flip-flop. It was hillarious.
I agree with you, that was really funny. Ms. Scott was like, "eeek!"
It has to be related to math. That is what the question asked.
I have to go. Sorry. I will check back later to see if question 2 was posted.
It just got posted
Ms. Scott what's the rest of question two it won't show.
The question is discribe your best moment in math so far. I hope that helps ;)
If the question means what was your favorite part of math so far. I would probably say the distributive property because I actually under stood it.
My favorite unit is Unit 3 because I think that learning about properties is very interesting.
Well, I have 2 best moments in math. My first on was when I got a 100 on my Unit 2 test! I was so happy! My second favorite moment was when we were working on simplifying expressions with variables. It was so confusing at first, but then I came to tutorial and I finally understood it!
For #2, I have many favorite moments. One, which happens a lot, is when I can't understand something and my brain finally grasps the concept. Another favorite time was when we did the CAT testing for the whole class. Finally, I loved it when I won my first Eagle Time.
I think that Unit 1 was strongest fir me because it was easier to understand. Plus I am really good at fractions!!
I think that my best moment in math was yesterday when we did the rotations because it was really easy and all the ones I did was distributive property and I am good at that.
Hey Sanaa! I totally agree with you on number one! I love fractions! It was also a good introduction to help me with other things we have learned so far! Also, the rotation stations were super fun!
I am most comfortable with Unit 3. I had a better understanding of the Distributive Property. Also my best moment in math was probably the rotations activity. We basically went over everything we learned in math.
#1 My strongest unit was definitely unit 1
#2 My best moment was there was a really hard question on a test and i was the only one who got it right ( i forgot the question )
#1 I felt most comfortable with unit1 because fractions come really easy to me.
#2 in unit 2 there was a concept that I really didnt understand and then i understood it. i felt so happy!:)
No. 1: I am most comfortable with Unit 3 because I find it easy to have substitutes for numbers. To me, it is just like taking a short cut. Also, I find it interesting to learn different properties.
No. 2: My best moment in Math this year was when I got a test back that had a 73 on it, but when we went over it, it turned out that 5 questions had been correct, even though the scantron marked them wrong. Bad scantron! :)
The unit I was most comfortable with thus far in the year was unit three. Simplifying equations confused me at first, but after a while, it began to fascinate me. Additionally, I liked learning about the properties of addition and multiplication because it helped me further understand some of the concepts we have dealt with. My final reason for being in my comfort zone with unit three was the fact that doing things like Khan Academy practices and IXL work really helped me out better than they had in previous units. In conclusion, unit three was fantastic, and although it was hard to grasp at first, it started to grow on me!
#1 the unit i am most comfortable with is unit 3 because it was most interesting to me to learn alll the different concepts like all the properties such as communitive, distibutive, and identity.
#2 my best moment in math class was learning all the properties. i dont know why but that was very interesting to me.
I have had a lot of great moments this year! I think my absolute favorite was a couple of days ago when we just couldn't think of the answer to the problem Ms. Scott had on the board. Finally, it turned into more of a hopeless sea of laughter than a classroom... not sure why or how... but it really made class fun to have a challenge. Also, Ms. Scott laughed along with us, and I love it when Ms. Scott smiles because it makes the whole class happier! In conclusion, it was a great moment in math that I'll always remember!
I agree with you totally Savannah.
My best unit so far has to be simplifying expressions.
Hi Ms Scott. this has nothing to do with the blogging but on ixl, each time i finish my quiz thing the score goes back to zero and i can't print out my score. what should i do?
My best moment is math was when Ms.Scott said "Snao, pop, craakle." to Ben and the qhole class was confused!
What?! Hahahaha.that sounds like it was funny!:)))
woops, i mean to type "Snap, pop, crakle."
My favorite unit has been simplifying expressions.
That was Unit 3 right? Because if it was, then I totally agree.
I can't see all of question 2
I felt most comfortable about Unit 2 because I completely understood the simplifying and evaluating. I also really liked the algebra stuff. My best moments were when I got picked for the warm-up and winning eagle time.
i thought unit 3 was the easiest to understand
From what I can see of question 2,my favorite part of math was meeting Mrs.Scott because Mrs.Scott is do fun and is a great teacher.
Hey This Is Max S. Red and i think that unit 3 was the easiest for i am better at finding formulas and properties than i am solving stait out problems.
I think that the best part of the math class this year (so far) was when i was able tomake up a quiz and get a better grade than i would have (if the quiz had got to Ms.Scott). Not only did that help that grade, but it also boosted my over all score up high.
I am most comfortable with Unit 3, but the easiest was unit 1. I think I'm most comfortable with unit 3 because we learned this in 3rd grade.
i was comfotable with unit 2.it was preety easy.
I am most comfortable with Unit #3. I think it was the easiest unit. I like relearning and extending my learning on the properties. My greatest moment was when I actually asked to be in accelerated math.
I thought unit 1 was my favorite because i really understood it.
My favorite moment in math is when we do the wave because it is fun and it i encourages us to work hard and keep doing the wave!
1) distributive property would be the easiest because there are only a few rules to remember and keep in mind.
I like whenever i get a 90 or higher.
my favorite part was when we did the cheese factory
I did not like the cheese factory it was awkward to get all that food I felt like a fatty!
I liked unit 3 the best because it was simple! My best moment in math is when I found out I was in accelerated math because I didn't know.
I agree with you, Sahana. Unit 3 was really fun and surprisingly kind of simple!
I felt most confident with unit 3 because Ms. Scott taught in a way that I really understood. I also really enjoyed the algebra that was involved with this unit. I found it fun to solve! My best moment in math so far was when we got to solve all the fraction problems on the foot puzzle and then try to piece the parts together.
I'm very excited about implementing technology in our Math class.
